News & Events June 7, 2023 EVENTS RESEARCH VISIT MEMBERSHIP DONATE Rare & Used Book Auction If you love auctions and unusual books, you'll enjoy our Rare & Used Book Auction, held on Friday, July 14, 2023 at 6:30pm. The auction is held in-person in the Mennonite Life Community Room but bidding may also be done online and by mail before the auction. For more information or to download the Auction lot list, visit mennonitelife.org/event/.  Fanciful Fraktur Bird Workshop Join us on Friday, July 28 from 1-4 pm for a workshop with local artist Emily Smucker-Beidler. Annual Storytelling Night Come to Landisville Mennonite Church on Monday, August 7, 7:00 pm for our Annual Storytelling Night. Told in a series of short-format stories, each storyteller relates personal anecdotes from richly varied life experiences. This year our storytellers are Karl McKinney and Karen Sensenig. REAL Life's June Update

June 2023 HAPPY SUMMER! Join Us for REAL Life's 1st Annual Golf Tournament Wednesday June 7th @ 1 PM at Foxchase Golf Club There is still time Click here to register! Click here to donate We are EXPANDING Young at Heart!  Learn More! We are so thankful for the generous donations we receive from all of you to help keep our food pantry running and available to those needing help with food in the community! We are currently in the works of offering something new for our monthly shoppers called the REAL Chef meal box. This is similar to a Hello Fresh package and would consist of a recipe and the necessary ingredients to prepare a complete meal. Our hope is to offer a healthy meal option that is also convenient and hassle free…...who doesn't like that?! For more information about the project and how to partner with us in this way, please reach out to marybeth@reallcs.org, or CLICK HERE!         We had a great time at this year's Pulled Pork Fundraiser.  We sold 400 meals and over 100 extra sandwiches and grossed over $5,000!!  Thanks to all the volunteers who made this fundraiser so successful!
