Eastern Mennonite Missions
Investment Fund
The Investment Fund is the lending arm of Eastern Mennonite Missions. In the spirit of mutual assistance, the fund receives savings from our constituency, pays interest to these investors, and makes first-lien mortgage loans to Anabaptist churches and related agencies, usually at a rate lower than that of a commercial loan.

As an investor, you can receive on-demand notes at an interest rate of 0.25%, one-year promissory notes at an interest rate of 1.25%, and three-year promissory notes at an interest rate of 2.50%. EMM also welcomes interest-free on-demand promissory notes. Each of these notes has a minimum purchase price of $500.
EMM registers a prospectus with the Pennsylvania Department of Banking and Securities annually. The Investment Fund is not a commercial lending agency and funds invested are not federally insured.

Fwd: One is a big number in God’s economy

Dreaming of Millions, Celebrating Each One

As church leaders we talk about reaching the billions of people in our world. We realize that each one of those billions has a name. Every name represents a person. Each person has an eternal destiny. And God "desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth" (1 Timothy 2:3).

Our world population has been growing by one billion people every 13 years; the most rapid growth is among those least-reached with the Gospel of Jesus. Reaching them requires multiplication: near-culture disciples making disciples who make disciples…

So, we focus on nurturing what multiplies. We assist clusters of churches in 57 nations to equip their people as disciple-makers who go and make disciples among least-reached ethnic groups living nearby. And it's working—really well!

We know you share our vision—to see everyone have an opportunity to choose and follow Jesus—is much bigger than what any one organization can accomplish.

Let us collaborate with you too, helping you to energize your congregation toward reaching the least-reached people in the world. Together, we can live out Jesus' prayer in John 17:20-24—that we may be one, so the world will know Him!

Mark your calendars now for the Lancaster area GoGlobal 1Day event on September 6, 2019, from 5-8:30 pm at the WJTL Junction Center, Manheim, PA.

Can one day change the world?

Yes, it can! Through GoGlobal 1Day, you help Christians around the world to build God's Kingdom. You experience the joy of reaching people with the Gospel in places you may never get to visit. You take part in fulfilling Jesus' Great Commission and multiply the Body of Christ among least-reached people.

Would you consider challenging your congregation to pray, share, and give to make it possible for people around the world to hear the Good News of Jesus?

Pray – Pray for the least-reached with Global Disciples each month on the First Friday. Sign up for prayer texts, monthly notifications, and requests from our worldwide prayer team.

Share – Join our Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter communities to see and share Global Stories with your friends, family, and followers.

Give – On your own with a one-time personal donation equal to "1Day" of earnings
Mark your calendars now for the Lancaster area GoGlobal 1Day event on September 6, 2019, from 5-8:30 pm at the WJTL Junction Center, Manheim, PA.

A Book for Everyone During Bookworm Frolic

Wednesday to Friday, August 14 to 16, 9 am to 7 pm and Saturday, August 17, 9 am to 4 pm. Explore 40,000 books on the grounds of Lancaster Mennonite Historical Society at its annual sale,
"With such a variety of books, there is something for everyone,"
~says Frolic organizer Jon Weaver-Kreider.

Make incredible finds among the twenty-two categories offered. Fiction and children's literature as well as travel, music, and history are just a few of the popular categories.

Hardback books are $3 and paperbacks are $1.50 for the first three days of the sale, and everything is half-price on Saturday. During the final two days of the Frolic, there is a "box deal" where prices are reduced even further—$15 per box on Friday, and $12 per box on Saturday. Records are $.50 and CDs/DVDs $3. They are also included in the half-price and box deals.

The Bookworm Frolic is held rain or shine. While the sale is outside, a tent provides cover from rain and sun. A food truck, TJ's Ice Cream, will offer refreshments on Wednesday.

The Society's year-round bookstore will be open as usual, selling new and used books, folk art, music, and family history resources.

Funds raised during the Bookworm Frolic support Lancaster Mennonite Historical Society's mission to hold, honor, and share items and stories featuring the lived experiences and faith values of Lancaster Mennonites and interrelated communities.
