Friendship Heart Studio is opening up a second Studio location at 1159 E. Oregon Road, Lititz, PA 17543, adjacent to Friendship Community's main office, and has opening for new Heart Artists.

It's no secret that COVID-19 has caused many challenges for our Artists within our day program. To limit the amount of physical contact, our studio has resorted to virtual lessons, limited the amount of heart artists per day, and arranged the desks for proper social distancing. While the Studio is striving towards the goal of getting back to full-capacity, there are currently over 40 Heart Artists attending one day per week each.

This new Studio space, which used to house Meaningful Day Academy, will allow more current Artists to safely come back to the Studio, as well as welcome brand new Heart Artists into the Friendship Heart Studio Day Program. The second Studio space is set to open in March 2022 and will allow the Artists count to reach 18 per day at full capacity and will offer program 5 days per week – similar to the downtown Lancaster Studio. Upon first opening, the Studio will house around 6 Individuals per day and will work towards full capacity. "The new studio space will allow us to invite dozens of new Artists who wish to develop their artistic skills, foster their creativity, and express themselves more fully. Our team is excited about this new challenge and opportunity to expand the program!" says Studio Manager, Sarah Rush.

The layout of the new Studio includes a spacious and private medication room, a Studio supply room and a new space for matting and framing. The matting and framing room will allow for more pieces to be safely handled and for proper storage afterwards.

With this new Studio opening, Instructor needs will also increase – possibly at either Lancaster or Lititz locations. Anyone interested in working in the Studio should keep an eye on our website and social medias for these openings to be posted.

Help us fill the new Studio! Interested Individuals, or supports on behalf of Individuals, should fill out the digital Studio inquiry form below. Please note that filling out the online inquiry form does not guarantee a spot in the Studio program. Please direct any questions to Studio Manager, Sarah Rush, at (717) 945-6904 or Studio@friendshipart.net.

To learn more, contact Director of Communications/Engagement Larry Guengerich at (717) 381-3526 or LGuengerich@landis.org for more information.

Landis Communities encourages those in Central Pennsylvania to attend Stewardship University, hosted by Everence, on March 5. You'll find ideas and insight into using your time, talents, money, health, and relationships God has given you to enhance and deepen your faith, drawing you nearer to God. And you'll meet presenters and participants who care about stewarding God's gifts. Larry Guengerich and Faith Hoover will be sharing a session titled Memory Loss and the Congregation: Tips and Tools, designed to provide congregations with ways to walk with families experiencing memory loss diagnosis.  To learn more, go to https://bit.ly/2021StewU

Fwd: For more than 100 years

For more than 100 years, EMM has shared the good news of Jesus around the world.
Thousands of global workers have gone to dozens of people groups. Decades later, the seeds that EMM workers have sown are multiplying into hundreds of thousands of people following Jesus in places like Tanzania, Ethiopia, Honduras, and many other places around the world. As we look to our future work, we're asking the question, "What does God have next for us?"

Our mandate as a mission agency is to take the gospel across cultures, especially into areas that are least reached. We want to see all believers — everyone — moving in mission. God has used EMM before to spark Jesus movements in specific parts of the globe. We're convinced that God wants to continue using us, and you can play a part in bringing transformation around the world.

If you would like to continue with us on this journey, we want to invite you to consider how you might continue partnering with us through prayer and financial support. In the final hours of 2021, we encourage you to make a year-end gift to EMM's Impact Fund. To support the work of EMM you can:
