Bookworm Frolic, Music in the Orchard, Herr Homecoming Celebration

Music in the Orchard—Outdoor summer concerts conclude at the 1719 Herr House & Museum at 6 p.m. on Saturday, August 3, with Michaela McLain. SweetLife will open. Tickets cost $8, complimentary for children under 12. Bookworm Frolic—Indulge your interests at the annual Bookworm Frolic! Come out to 2215 Millstream Road, Lancaster, Pa., between Wednesday, August 14 and Friday, August 16 (9 a.m. to 7 p.m.) and Saturday, August 17 (9 a.m. to 4 p.m.), to purchase your favorite used books and support Lancaster Mennonite Historical Society. Herr Homecoming Celebration— Join Herr descendants and others celebrating the 300th anniversary of the historic Herr House. Enjoy a day of games, giveaways, groundbreaking genealogical discoveries, exclusive tours, and special exhibits. A catered meal will also be provided. Festivities begin at 10 am, September 7, at the 1719 Herr House. Purchase tickets online at hansherr.org or by phone at (717) 464-4438.
