Eastern Mennonite Missions 450 Project Update on the Moving in Mission Capital Campaign and renovations at 450 North Prince Street | | EMM staff enjoying a picnic together on the new deck area outside the lunch room. | | The goal is within reach! | When we began the Moving in Mission Capital Campaign a few years ago, the $4.2 million goal felt a bit daunting. But God has been faithfully reminding us to trust. The EMM and Lancaster community has come together behind the vision we have of connecting with our neighbors, crossing cultures, and making disciples of Jesus right here in our own neighborhood. We are so excited to share that less than $385,000 remain to reach that goal!
If you've already partnered in this mission, we are so thankful for your generosity! If you haven't yet made a financial contribution to the Moving in Mission Capital Campaign, there is still time to help us reach our goal! Click one of the buttons below to give a gift or make a pledge that can be fulfilled over up to 5 years.
We'd love to finish this campaign up in the next month so that our energy can be focused fully on further developing the ministry of Hub 450. | | | Visit EMM.ORG/450 for more detailed information about the project and the vision behind it. | | Introducing the Hub 450 Manager | | Meet Deb Muenstermann, the new Hub 450 Manager! Deb lives in Lancaster City with her family and has spent several years serving overseas in China, Thailand, and South Africa. She is passionate about providing a welcoming space for people of all nations, cultures, and backgrounds to come together, learn and grow, build community, and experience the love of Jesus. And she'd really love to see the cafe come alive with international flavors, scents, and music! If this interests you, let us know.
Deb previously worked as a chaplain and during her service in South Africa, she worked in trauma healing. Along with her husband Ralph, Deb developed a curriculum connecting healing trauma through art and has vision for using this curriculum to provide healing spaces at Hub 450.
Deb is currently raising funds to begin functioning as the Hub 450 Manager and has reached 94% of her total fundraising goal! Once she is fully funded, she can begin the work of planning, coordinating, and managing opportunities for cross-cultural relationships and ministry at Hub 450.
