Fwd: God wasn't finished with Aisha's story

Greetings!

Aisha found herself pregnant, without a job, and stuck in an unhealthy relationship that left her feeling confused and alone.

Desperate for clarity, Aisha turned to Scripture — especially the familiar words of "love is patient, love is kind" from 1 Corinthians 13 — hoping they would somehow make her situation make sense.

She knew her boyfriend didn't reflect that kind of love, but she didn't want to walk the journey into parenthood alone. She even gave up her job in an attempt to fix what was broken, but that didn't work either.

Fear and uncertainty began to flood her mind — but so did something else: the quiet, persistent voice of God reminding her that her story was not over.

Through truth-filled guidance and compassionate support at Align, God began restoring what had been lost. He brought healing to Aisha's past and renewed hope for her future, not because her circumstances were easy, but because His faithfulness never failed.

We invite you to watch Aisha's story and see how God met her right where she was.

Your generosity helps make moments like this possible every day.

Partner with us.

Thank you for walking alongside women like Aisha, for believing that no story is too broken for God to redeem, and for knowing that no life is beyond His love.

In the powerful, life-saving name of Jesus,

Lisa Hosler

How Can You Make A Difference At Camp?

You can make a difference at Woodcrest in many ways, both big and small.

One of the most powerful ways you can help is by praying for Woodcrest. Please consider praying for:

  • The year-round ministry team.
  • Our Board of Directors as they plan for future development.
  • That the Summer Camp Ministry would bear much fruit.
  • That guests would be drawn closer to God and feel refreshed during their time at camp.
  • The financial support needed to sustain our ministry.

You can also support us by signing up here to receive emails with PowerPoint slides, flyers, and more about upcoming events that you can use to help us spread the word. This is a great way for supporting churches to add something to your Sunday morning slides.

Fwd: Catching up with the Sollenbergers

Bringing God's Word to the Nations

Winter 2026

Marty and Glenna Sollenberger

Happy New Year! We are grateful for the privilege of serving God in the ministry of Bible Translation. Thank you so much for being a part of it through your prayers and financial support.

Bridging the digital divide

In Southeast Asia, a colleague was gathering all the historical Scripture translations to convert them into formats for new technologies. He couldn't find one particular New Testament because it had been completed in the 1970s when Scriptures were only produced in printed form. "Turns out," he reports, "someone had scanned it and put it in [the archives]."  It is now being converted into digital text with the hope that it can be used on smartphones very soon.

Marty enjoys his work in Archives. He created digital audio files to preserve cassette recordings of Scripture in several languages of Southeast Asia. He is currently scanning printed materials in other minority languages.

Glenna continues to work at Dallas International University. DIU is a truly global hub of learning. We now offer in-person courses in Indonesia, Uganda, and Brazil through our partnerships with other schools and organizations. We are excited to prepare people to serve in a variety of ministries, including Bible translation.

Personal updates: Praise and prayer

By God's grace, Glenna completed her cancer treatment with no serious side effects. Her latest scans show no sign of cancer. We are so grateful for your prayers and support during the challenges of the past year.

Marty's new medication for diabetes is working well. However he continues to have issues with getting adequate sleep.  We would appreciate your prayers for his health.

Thank you so much for your prayers and support in our ministry with Wycliffe Bible Translators!
