In Every Trial He is Faithful!
In this email we'd like to share with you a number of situations facing us at this time and ask you to join us in praying that we can faithfully represent our Lord and King in each one. Although we don't see or understand certain situations we know that He is GOOD ALL THE TIME and that He WILL work ALL things together for GOOD!
Men at court house
Trial Update

A number of you have asked if our men have been tried over the incident that happened in April 2014 when the young men were arrested and charged with "Kidnapping children to teach them Christian songs"
Initially we thought it was just the 3 young men who were transporting the children but later realized two of our teachers were charged for for "Telling children they shouldn't worship idols."
The last several months our men have been called to the courthouse just to let the court know they haven't run away and are still living in the area.
Recently we were called in for the hearing/arguments/questioning; however the opposing party did not show up. Since the other party did not show the judge has postponed the trial again. We're not sure for how long.
Our lawyer informed us with a smile that, "It is to your advantage when the other party does not come."
We have heard that the case could be dismissed if the other party does not show 3 times. However it does make a difference if they have a legitimate reason for not being there.
Please continue to pray for the 5 men who have been accused; they are so ready to have this behind them. Pray that they and their families will be strong as we do not know what is next.
Pray for wisdom to know what steps, if any, we should take next in trying to resolve the case.
Temple
Next Door Temple

Since India's last national election many changes are being seen and felt religiously. Some of these changes are subtle and others are felt strongly by Christians. The government is investing one billion dollars in expanding temples and making them bigger. They are also giving priests a monthly salary which had not been done in the past. This move comes as a way of making Hindu worship stronger and trying to discourage other religions.
The above pictures are of what used to be a Children's Park across from GLM's
Computer/English Center. (Notice the sign on the right.) The temple has always been there but another entrance had been used, which is now closed, and the park entrance has now become the main entrance to the temple. Children are no longer seen playing freely. Sometimes when they come to the playground to play they are chased away.
Notice the loud speakers in the bottom left photo. Sometimes the music and speaking is so loud, and although we are across the road, we cannot hear the person right next to us. Because it is directly across from our building sometimes people coming to the temple will park right up to our courtyard and we need to look for parking elsewhere.
Pray that we as staff can show a Christlike attitude. Pray that our responses will turn the hearts of those observing us and our reactions toward Christ.

Water Crisis

Our state is facing a severe drought. 65% of the rivers that supply Hyderabad and the surrounding area have dried up. 1.5 million farmers and their families are migrating to cities because their crops are failing from no water. 67 towns in our state will soon have no water.
The water tables are very low.
Because of the desperate need for water the government decided to sponsor one well or so for some villages.
The top left picture is our church in Peraguda village. After receiving funds from the government the village leaders decided the best place for them to dig a new well was right next to our church. (See bottom left picture) Our church people begged them not to. A well right outside the church would be very noisy. Hand pumps make a lot of noise and it tends to be a place where people shout and yell at one another. The wet dirt around the well would also create mud that would be carried into the church house.
By all clear indications we feel that this spot was selected in line with our well, (see right pict) so that by digging deeper the new well would draw water from our well. Our well would then be dried up and useless. It is amazing; although the well was dug 180 ft deeper than our well, water was never hit! We praise the Lord for protecting our water source.
We would like to share Christ's love with the village people by sharing our water. Pray with us for funds to put up a water tank a little distance from the church that we could pump full with water, from our well, to meet the dire needs around us for water.
