Save the date! Lancaster's Beyond Ourselves chamber ensemble is teaming up with Lancaster Mennonite School's Campus Chorale and Sopa Sol to present their ninth annual concert benefiting MCC:
Sunday, February 28, 2016 3:00 p.m. James Street Mennonite Church 323 W. James St., Lancaster, PA
The freewill offering will benefit an MCC Global Family education program in eastern Nepal that provides scholarships for courses in tailoring and repair of computers, motorcycles and mobile phones. By developing useful job skills, students can remain in their communities and provide for their families. The Beyond Ourselves musicians are saxophonist Ryan Kauffman, violist Christy Kauffman, pianist Rosemary Blessing, and clarinetist Doris Hall-Gulati. The LMS Campus Chorale, the high school's select choir, is directed by Marcella Hostetler. Sopa Sol's musicians include Daryl Snider and Frances Crowhill Miller.
