"Good news in a broken world" EMM banquet
EMM has existed for well over 100 years, always striving to fulfill its calling. But it is important to step back from time to time and ask: What is EMM's role in today's world? Why does EMM exist?

As citizens of the global community, we look at our world in 2016 and see chaos swirling around us. In the midst of this, EMM desires for the hope of Jesus to be held in every heart. At the 2016 vision and fundraising banquet, "Good news in a broken world," hear more from president Nelson Okanya about EMM's calling. The banquet takes place on Friday, October 21, 6:30 p.m. at Yoder's Restaurant and Buffet, 14 South Tower Road, New Holland, PA 17557. Register online at emm.org/banquet.
Registration opens August 19.

Christian + Muslim = friends?
Heard any of these ideas?
  • All Muslims are militant jihadists.
  • Jesus followers need to hide their faith when relating to Muslims.
  • Muslims are inaccessible or unapproachable.
  • Muslims already have faith and don't need the gospel.
Invite EMM's Christian/Muslim Relations Team to your church to challenge myths like these. Equip your congregation or group for life-giving interaction with Muslims. Work with the team to choose the best mix of core and optional seminar components for your context. Learn more at emm.org/peacemakers. To book a seminar, email Jonathan Bornman at peacemakers@emm.org.
