Displaced Somalis receive school kits, comforters​

Over the last two years, some Somali refugees have been able to return home from neighboring Kenya. But after years in a refugee camp, many come back without everyday necessities such as school supplies or blankets. This past summer MCC shipped 2,930 comforters and 10,120 school kits to Somalia for students like Fatumo, left, and Sahro, right. Love in the midst of destruction

"Faith makes you act crazy," says the Rev. Ibrahim Nseir about the apparent foolishness of staying in Aleppo, Syria, during the seven-year war and believing he can make a difference in his community.
