Hero Maker Book Study
Wednesdays, May 16 through June 27, 7:30-8:30 a.m.

Bishop Keith Blank and Pastor Jeff McLain are inviting leaders and other individuals to study the book "Hero Maker" by Dave Ferguson and Warren Bird. This is a conversation that would fit you well. This is the call as staff at East Petersburg Mennonite Church! They will meet Wednesday mornings, at 7:30 a.m., for Breakfast, starting on May 16th. They have a private space reserved at the Family Fare Restaurant in East Petersburg. (You must buy breakfast)

A Sending Celebration: EMM worker commissioning
Come support new and reappointed EMM workers as they are commissioned to go serve throughout the world! Afterwards, chat and say goodbyes at an ice cream social. EMM is excited to welcome Randy Friesen, the executive director of MB Mission, as the speaker at this year's commissioning service. A Sending Celebration is on Sunday, July 8, 6:30 p.m., at the Oakwood Chapel at Black Rock Retreat (1345 Kirkwood Pk, Quarryville, PA 17566). Children are welcome to attend, but child care will not be provided. Questions? Contact Jessica Fellenger. We hope to see you there!

Music in the Orchard
Outdoor summer concerts begin at the 1719 Herr House & Museum at 6 p.m. on June 9 with a performance by Joy Ike and an opening by Alex Brubaker. Concerts continue rain or shine every other Saturday through August 4.

Pastors and Christian formation teachers
Are you looking for new ways to connect the Mennonite story with the biblical narrative? Consider visiting the Mennonite Information Center for a free tour of the Biblical Tabernacle—the story of God's faithful love in action, as well as our movie "We Believe", a 17-minute presentation about Mennonite origins, faith, and relationship to the Amish. Come and discover resources for your teaching ministry, especially for membership classes.  We are located by Tanger Outlet at 2209 Millstream Road, and can be reached at 717-299-0954. We are open from 9 through 5, Monday through Saturday.

Camp Hebron
Complimentary Retreats for Pastors & Full-time Missionaries
Camp Hebron is set aside as a sanctuary, a place of refreshment where people connect with God and others in the beauty and wonder of nature.  We welcome pastors and full-time missionaries to utilize our facility as a place for themselves and their families to step apart from daily demands.

Guidelines
  • Available for pastors, full-time missionaries, their spouse and dependent children.
  • Two nights complimentary lodging, Monday-Thursday, two (2) times per year.
  • Meals, if available, may be purchased for half price
  • Pastoral retreats generally utilize the newly renovated Stauffer Cottage. Other locations can be arranged pending availability.
  • Retreat must be booked less than two months in advance.

No Longer Alone Ministries
Family Support Group
Fourth Sunday of every month, 3-5 p.m.
Rossmere Mennonite Church, 741 Janet Ave, Lancaster
FSG brings Christian support for families and friends of loved ones with mental illness. There are informative topics to enhance insight and understanding of mental illness. Meetings are normally held on the fourth Sunday of each month from 3- 5 p.m. at Rossmere Mennonite Church, 741 Janet Ave, Lancaster. Educational program runs from 3-4 p.m.; Share and Care Groups meet from 4:10-5 p.m.

Paths to Discovery Support Group
The Paths to Discovery Support Group participants experience fellowship, encouragement, and mutual support for their personal journeys with mental illness. A professional staff member facilitates the meetings. Click here for more information.
There are presently 2 groups which meet at the following locations:
  • First and Third Thursdays of each month from 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at NLAM location, 630 Janet Ave, Room B103, Lancaster.
  • Second and Fourth Tuesdays of each month from 11:30 a.m.-12:15 p.m. at Arch Street Center, 629 N Market St, Lancaster.
  • First and Third Thursdays of each month from 6:30-8 p.m. at Faith Friendship, 128 W. Main St, Mountville.
