Praises:
1. We praise the Lord for a staff and board of directors who desire to see many lives touched by God at Spruce Lake.
2. Praise God that many young people are coming to know Christ as Lord & Savior at Wilderness Camp!
3. We thank the Lord for providing Mountain View (new gym-youth activity center) as the new building was a great blessing in the wet weather this summer. (See picture from July 25th, fire side invitation in gym).
4. Recent praise from a parent whose child received a scholarship to attend Day Camp, "This year my daughter Sarah went to her first day camp! IT WAS GREAT! Ever since Sarah was born, she has gone to youth camps and conferences with us, but never "her" camp. It was a very important experience in her life; one that she will probably never forget. Thank you all who made her two weeks of Day Camp possible. Sarah was the beneficiary of 2 Camperships which made the financial burden much lighter. She also had the benefit of wonderful counselors and leaders who work for the Lord and show Christ's love in all they do. She has new "camp friends" that we hope she will see again next summer. Most of all, my thanks to God for Sarah's camp experience."

It was truly an amazing time, above and beyond our expectations!...Thank you all again so much - it was Jr high ministry's first ever retreat and God couldn't have led us to a better place to have our retreat at.
