Landis Communities offers a Speakers Resource Listing to serve church and community groups. Team members are available at no cost to present in worship services, Sunday School classes and other settings. Resourcing can happen in person or via Zoom.  Subjects include Living Options for those who are Aging, Providing Care at Home, Memory Loss, Doing Church in an Aging Society, Financial Planning for Retirement, Environmental Care in Retirement Communities, Church History and Aging, and Spiritual Life and Aging.  Please contact Larry Guengerich, Director of Communications & Engagement, at LGuengerich@Landis.org or call (717) 381-3526.
The No Longer Alone Family Support Group, supported by Landis Communities meets the fourth Sunday of the month. The program for March will be the Hope Always Video Series: "Talking to a Loved One" and "Offering Hope" by Dr. Matthew Sleeth, MD; Author, teacher and former ER physician. The video will be followed by discussion and a time of sharing. The public meeting is scheduled for Sunday, March 26, 2023 from 3:00 - 5:00 p.m. by Zoom, due to the chance of inclement weather. Meetings will return to Landis Communities in April 2023.  The monthly meetings provide a place for those who have a loved one living with mental illness to learn and share their experiences. An Art Exhibit featuring pieces by local artist, Joanna McIlvaine will be on display at the Landis Homes Crossings Art Gallery from March-April, 2023.  Joanne is a graduate of Lancaster Mennonite High School and graduated with a fine art degree from Goshen College in the 1980s. She did not start oil painting seriously until 2009, when she took a plain air painting class at PA College of Art; Design and learned how to paint outdoors on location.  The Art Exhibit is located in the Crossings Gallery located in the Calvin G.; Janet C. High Learning; Wellness Center on the campus of Landis Homes, 1001 East Oregon Road, Lititz. Stop by daily between the hours of 7:00 am – 8:00 pm. You'll find unusual and interesting treasures, along with classics you'll want, at our Rare & Used Book Auctions!Join us in the Community Room on Friday, March 10, 2023  at 6:30pm for our next Rare & Used Book Auction. The auction is held in-person but you also have the opportunity to bid on books online and by mail before the auction. The book auction catalog is available by mail or by download here on our website. Bidding closes on Thursday, March 9 at 4:30 pm. Registration is not required for this event. Plain Living Series 1: Weaverland Mennonite-300 Years of Growth, Division, and Faithfulness

Mennonite Life and Garden Spot Village come together for a series on the role of the Amish and Mennonites in the community, as well as stories of their experiences. Held in the chapel at Garden Spot Village (433 S Kinzer Avenue in New Holland), the Plain Living Series events are complimentary and do not require registration.
