Good Morning from Crossfire Youth Ministries,
We enjoy the sun setting at the close of a day….it is a reminder that a New day will soon be here. Lord, what opportunities do you have in mind for me today? Let us be hopeful, joyful & expectant of great things that lie just ahead of us. Lord, give me the strength to accomplish your will for my life.
EXTRAGIVE.ORG this event is happening in a few short days. Click onto this website www.extragive.org find the "leaderboard" and scroll down to Crossfire Youth Ministry. On November 20th running from 12am – 11:59pm you can use your credit card to make an extra donation to Crossfire.
We are looking for 50 individuals who will "click" on and donate at 12am. The first 10 organizations who receive 50 unique credit card donations will be granted an extra $1000. Help Crossfire secure this extra gift.
Last year the funds raised in November were paid out in January. We received $14,000 and this greatly helped cover the slow donation months of January, February & March. Thank you so much for considering Crossfire this year! We are blessed to be able to serve the children in this community.
ASHLAND YOUTH CENTER: God has begun pouring out His blessings over this venture up North. In August we had a new group of youngsters show up and totally love the center. They invite their friends. They all enjoy!
Every Saturday we provide this opportunity from 2pm-5pm. There are about 20 children who are making this center their home. It is awesome.
Every Tuesday evening I run back up to provide an evening for those ages 16 and older. We currently only have around 6 showing up. This is leading to bible studies & worship times that are encouraging and awesome.
UNITED ZION CAMP WEEKEND: A few weeks ago about 36 of our High school crew spend a weekend in Manheim at the UZ camp grounds. We enjoyed good food, great friendships, encouraging worship times & encouraging devotions. A favorite game Saturday afternoon is "Thunderball" a crazy game played on a ballfield that combines, basketball, soccer, football & wrestling all in one sport. The kids love it! Saturday evening was a unique ministry time of praying for most of the students and seeing God come alive to many of them. Tis truly a unique weekend to behold.
CROSSFIRE BARN: We continue to be blessed by lots of children who choose Crossfire to be their "home". They love the fun times, the worship times, and the relationships they forge with the adults who pour into their lives.
The Wednesday evening Elementary crew usually sees around 40 children just having a blast. They are busy, but the Word is sinking in! A recent video posted to Facebook shows 3 elementary children singing while waiting for the school bus. Word for word they sang "Lord, I need you" and "Our God". They are about 5 & 6 years old and know these songs! Crossfire is impacting these young lives and to this we give God the Glory!!!
Thursday Middle School crew continues to run 30+ students and up to 16 volunteer leaders pouring into these precious lives. Coby's Services is providing a bible study group time for 8 of our girls. These girls just love it! For the past 3 weeks all 8 girls have shown up. None have missed a night. These Middle schoolers love to sing. If you get a chance to view our Crossfire Facebook page you will see our program in action!
FRIDAY HIGH SCHOOL CREW: We continue to see round 30+ students on this night. They enjoy the friendships, lots of games & can stay content up to 2 hours of singing & devotions times. We enjoy this precious group of students and spend 5+ hours each Friday with them.
Please continue to cover us in prayer. God is drawing child into this program from 4 years old & up because He has a unique plan for each of these children. He has given Crossfire the privilege of ministering LIFE into these precious lives. We value your financial gifts and that helps us to grow and share more life.
