What New Opportunities Will 2019 Hold?
HMS Students -- A Worthy, Long-Term Investment
Dear HMS parents,

As you consider new challenges and opportunities in 2019, please accept our
HMS alumni gathered to visit, thumb through old yearbooks, and reminisce together October 12 for a special reception during auction weekend. The newly completed lobby from our 2012 expansion was the
host site for the event.
gratitude for your prayers and gifts of time, expertise and financial support. Our school, its students and their families are blessed by your generosity.

HMS boldly celebrates Christ -- the Ultimate Gift -- now and throughout each year. His arrival and redemptive work enables every day opportunities to help students "learn and live God's purposes." Our teachers and staff labor diligently to help each student discover his/her God-given purpose as part of an educational and personal journey of faith.  Our alumni continue to live and learn God's purposes in a host of occupations.

One of our volunteers noted that the stock market offers
uncertain returns but the returns on investment in the lives of
HMS students are strong and have far-reaching impact.

In a recent parent communication, we shared a video overview of our school's Christmas celebration season. I thought you may wish to see this post as well...

Thanks for investing in students, our future church and community leaders! We are blessed by the many ways you invest in Christian education at HMS!

May you sense God's peace and discern His wisdom and leading for your life in 2019.

Gratefully yours,
Jody Fausnight
Director of Advancment

P.S. If you have not given recently and wish to do so in 2018, your gift must be postmarked or made online by December 31.
Students & families contribute to auction success. Evan Fravel (grade 3) displays the shelf/sign he built with his parents and donated.

2018 HMS HinkleFEST & Benefit Auction yields nearly $60,000 to support HMS students & programs HinkleFEST

The annual HinkleFEST & Auction underwrites some of the cost of education at HMS. Through the support of the entire HMS and surrounding community, this event provided over $60,000 towards operating & capital needs in 2018-19.

We are grateful for the individuals and many businesses who sponsored the event, donated goods or services and showed up to enjoy the fun!
