Hi Phil,

As we venture into uncharted waters, we feel it necessary to inform you of what we, as an organization, are doing in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

We at REAL Life Community Services are taking the following precautions to keep our clients and your community safe:

1.  We are closing our offices to the public.  Staff will continue to be available by phone (717)336-7797 to meet needs.
2.  Chris Hibbert, our Director of Social Work, will not be meeting face to face with clients, but available by phone during our regular office hours, Monday through Friday, from 9 am to 4 pm.
3.  We have rescheduled our Spring Banquet until May 20th - more information will follow.
4.  We continue to distribute food through Power Packs Project with the following changes; all participants in the program will pick up their food from one distribution point (Peace UCC) on Wednesday between 3-7 pm.  The food will be picked up curbside, with volunteers bringing it to each car individually, making the least amount of group contact possible. If this system works well 3/18, we will continue it until the schools are opened.
5.  We have canceled all REAL Life Community events at the Lighthouse until further notice.
6.   I continue to get updates and new information on best practices to limit the spread of this virus from various governmental entities and other social service agencies.

We hope and pray that the virus will subside quickly so that we can all get back to some normalcy in the near future.  If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to contact me.

In His service,

Rod Redcay
Executive Director
