They are doing it. We can help.
The Church is advancing in unity in difficult times. Here's a glimpse at how that's happening through our Global team in 59 countries. If you want more information about how to pray or give, or you would like to become a local advocate where you live, feel free to email me at jerry.meadows@globaldisciples.org.

How is Global Disciples doing?

We are maximizing the valuable lessons we are learning through this pandemic and moving into a new phase of accelerated, even more healthy and cost-effective multiplication.

Before the worldwide lockdown, Global Disciples was experiencing a wave of rapid growth, launching over 950 new programs in the last three years. While we don't understand or enjoy what we consider to be limitations in the current situation—God's sovereign plan is unwavering. In these unprecedented and uncertain times, God's Kingdom is advancing.

What's changed due to COVID-19?

Several countries have extended limitations on social gathering so we have reduced in-person trainings from an average of 15 to 9 participants. This allows for greater life-on-life investment and multiplication.

We are digitizing critical international trainings, and that greatly reduces expenses.

How is the Global Disciples team doing around the world?

While there is much to encourage us, it is very hard for many of our brothers and sisters in Christ. In many countries, restrictions keep day workers from going out to work, and that means no food for them and their families.

Global Disciples has provided resources to help near-culture workers be the hands and feet of Jesus. In April and May, we provided $8,600 of relief funds for food to communities in India, Zambia, Mozambique, Kenya, and North Africa. In one case, resources fed a community of 40 families which had no food and no way to get food due to COVID-19 restrictions—a community that only a few months ago had persecuted the Christians for sharing the Gospel. Think of that. It reminds us that disciples who multiply are committed to loving others as Jesus loves.

As you pray today, you are part of an amazing team of global disciples in 59 other countries.
