Programs for Churches

GRANT FUNDED PROGRAMS FOR CHURCHES

"Every church has survivors of child sexual abuse--How do we support them?"
Protecting children and offering genuine support to survivors of sexual violence is a part of any healthy church community. Faith communities can be part of the healing process when they understand the dynamics and know how to respond. The programs below were developed to help churches in this mission.

For the congregation, Youth Groups,
Sunday School Classes, and more
Cost:             FREE  There is no fee to the church for these programs, due to generous
                      funding by the

LMC Biblical Classes

Discovery seeks to help Christians hear the voice of God, better know themselves, and plan for growth toward what each hears God calling them. In this respect, Discovery is both basic discipleship and leadership training. If you would like to offer Discovery in your congregation, contact the LMC office (information@lmcchurches.org) for help in getting the study up and running.

Discovery is eight training sessions that could change your life forever.  You can look at the flyer
HERE, and for the sessions press HERE.

Following interest from CIES (Shalom Council), a team began work on translating the Discovery Course into Spanish. Peter Cook, Susan Hochstedler, Alexis Roman, Brinton Rutherford, and Daniel Sanchez are navigating the effort.
