Landis Communities offers a Speakers Resource Listing to serve church and community groups. Team members are available at no cost to present in worship services, Sunday School classes, and other settings. Resourcing can happen in person or via Zoom.  Subjects include Living Options for those who are Aging, Providing Care at Home, Memory Loss, Doing Church in an Aging Society, Financial Planning for Retirement, Environmental Care in Retirement Communities, Church History and Aging, and Spiritual Life and Aging.  Please contact Larry Guengerich, Director of Communications & Engagement, at LGuengerich@Landis.org or call (717) 381-3526.
Landis Communities is looking for a Care Navigator for Landis Place on King, Steeple View Lofts and future properties. MSW or RN preferred (others with related experience considered). The Care Navigator will provide access to resources and support to residents in order for them to meet wellness goals and to age in place and thrive in the community.  The Care Navigator will work collaboratively with the Landis Communities team, and with community resources, in order to best support residents and their needs.  This position requires at least 5 years of experience in care coordination, case management, home, and community-based services or equivalent experience.  This position requires the ability to work independently, creatively solve problems and effectively communicate.  This position is 16 hours/week with the possibility of an increase in the future.  Spanish and English language proficiency preferred. The No Longer Alone Family Support Group,  supported by Landis Communities, meets on the fourth Sunday of the month.  The guest speaker for April will be Del Burkholder, Director at Support for Prison Ministries. His presentation "Sharing the Vision and Ministry of Support for Prison Ministries" will be followed by a time of sharing. The public meeting is scheduled for Sunday, April 23, 2023 from 3:00 - 5:00 p.m. in the Crossings Meeting Room of the Calvin G. and Janet C. High Learning and Wellness Center at Landis Communities, 1001 East Oregon Road, Lititz, PA. Please follow all COVID protocols in place at the time of the meeting. The monthly meetings provide a place for those who have a loved one living with mental illness to learn and share their experiences.
