Join us on Monday Night!

Spark Brass, a local brass ensemble, is holding a benefit concert to raise money for their educational outreach programs and for Church World Service's refugee program at Tellus360 on Monday March 30th, 7pm.

Admission is by donation ($20 suggested or pay what you can). Click here for more information about Spark Brass.

Click here to check out the Facebook event page. RSVP and bring your friends to start the week in good company!

CWS Lancaster invites you to Save the Date of Thursday, May 7th for our annual Community Appreciation Breakfast. This breakfast will be a time where we thank the Lancaster community for the many ways that you have assisted refugees and other displaced persons throughout the past year.

We will start the morning with a buffet breakfast followed by a brief program. This year, our speaker will be Karen Williams, author of the children's book, Four Feet, Two Sandals. In this touching story, ten-year-olds Lina and Feroza meet at a refugee camp in Pakistan. They become fast friends as they share one pair of sandals between the two of them.

Karen was inspired to write the picture book when a friend came to her with the story of a refugee girl in the United States who wanted to know why there were no books about children like her.

Please forward this email to people who would be interested in the following unique opportunity.

How many new friends will you make?

PA 2015 – the Mennonite World Conference Assembly – will be one big reunion. Friends from all over the world.

But you will meet many new persons, too, and you will make lifelong friends with persons from other parts of our peoplehood.

Fellowship is a big reason for thousands to come together from many lands to celebrate our common faith and friendship

There will also be great music, small group discussions, inspired speakers, tours, seminars, Anabaptist World Cup, programs for youth and children, the Global Youth Summit for young adults from many countries, wonderful food, and much more.

But fellowship is what you may remember most. See you there.

You can donate to the Syria and Iraq crisis response or learn how to contribute blankets at mcc.org.
