• Music in the Orchard—Summer concerts continue at 6 p.m. on Saturday, July 8, at the 1719 Hans Herr House & Museum with the poetic lyrics, soaring vocals, and percussive piano-playing of Nigerian-born, Joy Ike.  Terry Strongheart, noted Native American musician, will open. Concerts continue every other week through August 5. 
• 300 Years of Mellinger Mennonite Church—Join us for two half-day field trips looking at the origins of Mellinger Mennontie Church on Saturday, October 21 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. or 1 to 4 p.m. Highlights include a walk to the early Mellinger farm as well as a log barn along Leaman Road. The tour will be led by Dan Wenger and Ivan Leaman. The tour begins at Mellinger Mennonite Church. Registration costs $50 for members, $65 for nonmembers, and is due September 21. • The Story of Pennsylvania Dutch—How did the distinctive American language of Pennsylvania Dutch develop? Find out with a lecture from Dr. Mark L. Louden of the University of Wisconsin beginning at 7 p.m. on Monday, July 17, at the Martindale Mennonite Fellowship Center. This event is free and open to the public.

• Música en el Huerto—Los conciertos de verano continúan a las 6 p.m. el sábado 8 de julio en la Casa Museo de Herr de 1719 con las líricas poéticas, la voz enfática, y el piano percusivo de Joy Ike, artista nigeriana. Terry Strongheart, músico nativoamericano, abrirá el concierto.  Los conciertos continúan cada otra semana hasta el 5 de agosto. 
• 300 Años de la Iglesia Menonita de Mellinger—Disfruta de dos giras, mañana y tarde, que muestran los orígenes de la Iglesia Menonita de Mellinger.  Se llevarán a cabo el sábado 21 de octubre de 9 a.m. a 12 p.m., y de 1 a 4 p.m. Las giras incluyen una corta caminata por la finca colonial de la familia Mellinger, y un rancho de troncos en la Carretera Leaman, Road.
