Since 1933, LBC has maintained its mission to educate Christian students to think and live a biblical worldview and to proclaim Christ by serving Him in the Church and society. Our focus is on your journey to fulfill God's purpose in your life. In a larger sense, however, our mission is to serve the local church, and one way we do that is through our eQuip program. eQuip is LBC's continuing education program that focuses on biblical enrichment classes. People from your congregation can register for courses and receive continuing education units (CEUs) upon completion of a course. Fall classes begin August 20, and we have one class we think might be of particular interest to your ministry: Volunteer Engagement, taught by Pastor Jon Brady. This course offers a step-by-step approach to attracting and retaining an abundance of volunteers. During the course, students will explore topics such as ministry mindset, mobilizing volunteers and suggestions for cultivating and reproducing servants. The second course offered is Survey of the Pentateuch, taught by Professor Rich Ragan. This course surveys the books of the Pentateuch placing special emphasis on biblical beginnings and the development of the covenants as foundation for God's working in the rest of Scripture. It is part of our ongoing biblical enrichment series, focusing on Bible study and knowing God's Word more deeply. Individual tuition is $99. For groups of 5 or more, the tuition is $49 Class sessions are held at our Lancaster, PA campus. Each session is just five weeks long and held on Monday evenings from 6:30-8:30 p.m. I invite you to learn more by visiting our web site, www.lbc.edu/equip.
