Dear Kelly, This could be the most important pro-life vote in Pennsylvania state government this year, and that's why we need your help to prevent the real threat of more babies being killed by abortion in our state. Your State Senator will soon be considering a bill, Senate Bill 857, which would expand telemedicine in Pennsylvania and it must include the amendment added by the State House if we are to continue to prohibit telemed abortions - also known as "webcam abortions" or abortions by video - from happening in our Commonwealth. Not only are abortion businesses like Planned Parenthood trying to kill more babies, but they now want to subject more women to an abortion drug the FDA classifies as having significant health risks without an in-person examination in an on-site facility. That's right - Planned Parenthood is trying to pave the way to performing chemical abortions by forgoing an in-person exam! An abortion by video, or webcam abortion, puts a woman at more risk by increasing the chances of error in calculating the duration of the pregnancy. It also endangers women with ectopic pregnancies by delaying this diagnosis that can lead to dangerous and perhaps even fatal results. If we fail to pass Senate Bill 857 as amended, Pennsylvania would be allowing the abortion industry to expand - to reach even more young women with their dangerous chemical abortions. We cannot let that happen. Please contact your State Senator: Call (Find their phone number here): "We need to keep abortions by video out of Pennsylvania. Please keep the House language in Senate Bill 857 and pass this bill as amended."
