STEP provides three years of non-traditional ministry leadership training. Training occurs through online assignments and one class meeting per month, for nine months, for each of the three years. Students travel together through the three years in a cohort model. Kairos is for all Christians at any point in their journey with God. It is not a "missions" course. It is an opportunity for all of God's people to have their worldview transformed and aligned with God's heart for the nations. He has called us all to play a part in His mission both locally and globally and there are many different roles to fill. Fanciful Fraktur Bird Workshop Join Mennonite Life on Friday, July 28, 1–4 p.m. for a hands-on exploration of the Pennsylvania German art of fraktur. Under the guidance of fraktur artist Emily Smucker-Beidler, participants will learn what birds influenced the art form's earliest nature motifs, as well as the history behind its characteristic polka-dot, checkerboard, and striped patterns. Each participant will create their own 5x7 fanciful fraktur bird. This workshop will be held in the Mennonite Life Community Room and costs $95 per person.
