Kairos is for all Christians at any point in their journey with God. It is not a "missions" course. It is an opportunity for all of God's people to have their worldview transformed and aligned with God's heart for the nations. He has called us all to play a part in His mission both locally and globally and there are many different roles to fill. Friendship Community's Irvin C. Enck Memorial Golf Tournament Thursday, September 14, 2022 at Foxchase Golf Club, 300 Stevens Road, Stevens, PA 17578. The cost is $100 per golfer, or $400 per foursome. Price includes greens fees, golf cart use, lunch, and unlimited snacks and drinks throughout the course. Fanciful Fraktur Bird Workshop Join Mennonite Life on Friday, July 28, 1–4 p.m. for a hands-on exploration of the Pennsylvania German art of fraktur. Under the guidance of fraktur artist Emily Smucker-Beidler, participants will learn what birds influenced the art form's earliest nature motifs, as well as the history behind its characteristic polka-dot, checkerboard, and striped patterns. Each participant will create their own 5x7 fanciful fraktur bird. This workshop will be held in the Mennonite Life Community Room and costs $95 per person. Annual Storytelling Night In a celebration of stories that transcend boundaries, Mennonite Life hosts its Annual Storytelling Night Monday, August 7, 7 p.m. at Landisville Mennonite Church. Throughout the evening, storytellers Karl McKinney and Karen Sensenig will relate a series of alternating short-form anecdotes from their lives. Annual Storytelling Night is a complimentary event.
