Good morning,

Old Road Mennonite Church has been a great church on the east side of Lancaster Co. for over 170 years!  But just because we have been around a while, it doesn't mean we are old or the atmosphere here is stuffy and formal.  And don't confuse us with an Old Order Mennonite or an Amish church because we are in beautiful downtown White Horse, PA.  (We know, we know.  The word "old" is in the name.  "Horse" is in the name of the town.  But you are most likely to see a hot rod, a Harley or a Honda in our parking lot than a horse.) We are pretty laid back and contemporary here.  Sure we have a few miles on us, but we don't consider ourselves "antique",  we are more like an "updated classic".  We believe our good news is more relevant today than ever.

Our congregation is made up of all ages, friendly, and caring.  Though we are quite different as individuals, we have this in common;  we love Jesus, and we love people.

Old Road is currently looking for a part-time Youth Pastor.

We are looking for a seasoned Jesus-lover with a passion for the next generation.  We are looking for a good communicator/teacher who is a dedicated Anabaptist Christian.  The right candidate will be someone who is gifted at relationships with teens and their families, a self-starter who is social media savvy.  Musical skills are a plus.  We are looking for the right person/family to join our fantastic little church and attend regularly, teaching Sunday School when needed and contributing occasionally to the worship service.  We need someone to run a weekly youth group meeting, attend various sports or student activities, and to head up a yearly mission trip.

If you would be interested, or know someone who might be, please contact me, Pastor Scott Elkins.  My contact info is listed below.

Thanks!  And Peace on the Journey,
