Our second Israel tour has been officially booked with Pilgrim Tours for MAY 16-25, 2017. Come join performers Caleb and Rachel Hughes as you see the Bible performed in the places where it actually happened! Emily and I enjoyed the tour so much last year! Israel felt very safe and we enjoyed the nice accommodations and excellent food. The tour was non-stop. Each day was packed with amazing views and historical sites. Our tour guide was a Messianic Jew who was knowledgeable about the Bible and helped explain Jewish and Bible customs and stories and linked them to the sites we were touring. Some fun times were getting to see some crazy archeological ruins, soaking in the Dead sea, getting to ride a camel, and the fabulous spread of foods we got to sample while in "Abraham's Tent." However, the most impactful times for us were when we got to lead a devotional time on the Sea of Galilee, baptizing believers in the Jordan River and praying along side other Christians and Jews at the Western or "Wailing Wall" of the destroyed Temple in Jerusalem. We also loved getting to worship and pray with the other believers on the tour. In Christ, Aaron House Caleb and Rachel Hughes (pictured above performing Luke15 with fellow actor Jacob Cummings in the middle)  Caleb and Rachel have been performing with Piercing Word since 2013. They were in Lancaster to perform with Sight & Sound Theatres and have since performed in many PW pieces, including Jonah, Esther, Romans 8, John 4 and script writing for "The Fullness of Time" and "James." Both graduated with performance degrees from Liberty University and have been performing in professional theatres since graduation. They are currently located in Louisville, Kentucky as Caleb pursues his Master of Divinity  in Christian Ministry Degree from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. They are both thrilled to join the tour and minister to their fellow travelers as the perform. Hear Every Word (Aaron House performing the Sermon on the Mount on the Mount of Beatitudes, overlooking the Sea of Galilee)  Pilgrim Tours uses the "Whisper Tour Guide System" to allow tour goers to hear every word of the performances as well as information from the tour guides at historical sites. The tour guide does not have to "gather everyone around" to hear them, allowing the group to continue walking and viewing at their own pace. The performer or guide wears a headset with a microphone, then each person on the tour has their own earpiece and can adjust the volume to their own preference and not miss a word! Please pray for guidance and that they would do God's will as they consider this big step! ~Please pray for the cast of Christmas Through the Ages as they are memorizing the Bible and working on learning music right now in preparation for the first rehearsal on October 18th. -Please pray that those who the Lord would have minister through Piercing Word would be called to our November auditions and that we would have ample actors to fill all roles for our 2017 season.
