Fabric Needed for Serbia
 One of our partners in Serbia is in need of cotton and flannel fabric for use in sewing linens, pajamas for children, curtains and tablecloths. If you have extra cotton or flannel fabric, please consider donating it. Fabric can be dropped off at the MCC East Coast MRC in Ephrata, PA, the MCC East Coast regional office in Philadelphia, PA, the MCC MRC of Harleysville in Souderton, PA, or the Cumberland Valley Relief Center in Chambersburg, PA. Open Positions  Work with Mennonite Central Committee (MCC) East Coast as Thrift Shops Coordinator. This position provides support and services to 17 MCC EC thrift shops who annually contribute nearly $3 million to the ministries of MCC. The person in this position is expected to assist with problem solving in daily shop operations, to advocate for and be a resource in board development and sound policies and to nurture manager skill development, while offering and promoting MCC Thrift Shop Network resources, all resulting in consistent annual growth in net income. This person also acts as a liaison between MCC and EC thrift shops, communicating regularly, the shops' issues, needs and feedback to MCC and MCC's mission and use of funds to the shops. Serve as the MCC Representative for Bangladesh. The person in this position is responsible to provide overall leadership to a large, mature, multifaceted MCC program with a budget of over $1 million that supports already-existing Bangladeshi agencies by providing expatriate volunteers, grants and technical support. Washington Office High School Essay Contest Announced Participate in the MCC U.S. Washington Office's essay contest and you could win $1,000!
