View this email in your browser Come see Sermon on the Mount: The Musical THIS SUNDAY Sermon on the Mount: the Musical has been touring in churches, schools, and organizations in Pennsylvania, Delaware, and Maryland! Directed by George Kell, this contemporary musical is composed of word for word scriptures from Matthew 5-7, Jesus' most famous sermon, the Sermon on the Mount. With original music composed by Tyler Hoover, this dramatic retelling has become one of Piercing Word audiences' favorite productions since it's debut in 2015.   Our cast of 18 actors rotates through the 5-person cast, so no two performances are alike! WELCOME NEW PIERCING WORD ACTING INTERNS! BECCA & CHAD Becca Hallman is a recent graduate from Mount Calvary Christian school. She recently starred as Mary Poppins in Mary Poppins, the Broadway Musical this spring at Mount Calvary. Becca is from Elizabethtown and attends and serves at LCBC church.  After her internship, she's relocating to North Carolina with her family, where she plans to pursue a career as a phlebotomist. Becca heard about Piercing Word through actress Meagan Mapson, who directed Becca in Mary Poppins. Becca is  learning to perform Romans 8, James, and is creating an original performance about Deborah with fellow intern Chad Sell. Chad Sell grew up in Lancaster area attending Conestoga Valley High School but relocated with his family to Florida in June 2015. He attended Houghton College for two years studying Music Composition, and he is currently attending Southeastern University, studying Music Education and Cello Performance. He plans to be an elementary music teacher after graduation. He is also a worship intern with Harvest Bible Chapel in Lancaster, which is where he heard about Piercing Word. Chad is also learning Romans 8, James, and working on an original performance with fellow intern Becca, including original music he wrote! We are looking for Fall 2017 INTERNS! Opportunities for part-time and full-time in the areas of: Acting Stage Management Social Media Audio Tech   "This internship gave me hands-on experience in many areas and grew my skills as a communicator through performance, writing, social media, and other means. THE SWITZERLAND TEAM Please pray for our Piercing Word Switzerland Team Members: Christine Moussa, Lindsey Grimble, Kelcey Hurst, Matt Hurst, and Seth Antes! They left on July 4th for 2 weeks of ministry at the Mountreux Jazz Festival. They are going in partnership with YWAM and Dove International Missions and performing Jonah, Romans 8 and Sermon on the Mount: the Musical. Praise that actors Caleb and Rachel Hughes had a sucessful tour with the travelers on the May Israel Trip. Please pray for actors Lindsey Grimble, Christine Moussa, Matt  and Kelcey Hurst, and Seth Antes as they are in Switzerland July 4-17 where they will represent Piercing Word and perform for the public at the Mountreux International Jazz Festival.
