October 2019 Praise & Prayer Romans 12:2 "Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is - His good, pleasing and perfect will."   Praises: We praise the Lord for a staff and board of directors who desire to see many lives touched by God at Spruce Lake and Pinebrook. Praise God that several women gave their lives to Christ during the 2019 Women's Retreat at Spruce Lake. This past summer we had the privilege to point over 900 young people toward Christ at Wilderness Camp. The bridge just south of Spruce Lake on Rt. 447 is now open again - Praise God! Prayers: Pray for the Franconia Mennonite Camp Association Board and staff at Spruce Lake and Pinebrook as we continue to seek God's direction for the ministry. Please pray that God would prepare the hearts of the arriving guests for what He wants to teach them while they are here. Pray for more retreat group reservations at Pinebrook and for safety as we start renovating Sunnybrook in November. Pray for the funding we need to construct sixteen cabins at wilderness Camp so we can point more young people to Christ year round.
