A note from MennoMedia Executive Director, Amy Gingerich

In the midst of these uncertain times, I find my spirits buoyed today with ever-expanding connections.
Matt Froese invited Mennonites to record themselves singing "Heart with Loving Heart United." He provided the accompaniment to keep everyone on beat. The YouTube video result reminds me that our hearts are truly united. (Watch these updates for future opportunities to join in singing.)
Rejoice! daily devotional editor Leslie Hawthorne Klinger invited writers to contribute to a special edition titled "A Time Such as This." Some 56 heartfelt devotionals poured in, connecting us to one another. We will be publishing those soon.
Truly we are finding new ways to build faith community in these days, and I am most grateful.
Each week during this outbreak MennoMedia will continue to provide receive free resources as a way to help people in your church stay connected.

In prayer,
Amy Gingerich

Trying to Manage Digital Distraction?

We're offering a free excerpt from the upcoming Herald Press title Reconnect: Spiritual Restoration from Digital Distraction. In this section, author Ed Cyzewski (Flee, Be Silent, Pray) offers insight into the "reactive mind" and how that mindset can interfere with prayer. In this moment, when all of us are feeling anxious and uncertain, we hope this excerpt might help you find calm and quiet amidst the storm.
