From homeless and hopeless to hope in Christ!

Greetings! When Hazel first visited Align, she was pregnant, caring for her 10-month-old, and sleeping on a friend's sofa.  We noticed she quietly gathered extra baby food from our lobby. She later shared that she was homeless. She'd been trying not to feed the baby too often because she was worried about making a mess at her friend's house. Our hearts ached for her. We gave her a gift card to a local grocery store. We asked about her spiritual beliefs, which led to a conversation about Jesus. She opened her heart widely to the truth and said yes to beginning a new relationship with Him! We gave her a Bible and some referrals to help with food, housing, and finding a better job. In the months that followed, Hazel's walk with Jesus blossomed. She started going to church and reading the Bible with a friend each morning. She also applied for a new job training program.
