Monthly Newsletter August - 2025 End of Summer We are officially done with Summer 2025. While it may be sad to see our camp a little bit emptier, we are excited for all the rentals and events to come this fall. Please take some time to read over some quotes from campers and parents from this summer:  "I enjoyed watching Maggie make friends as the week went on. This was our first time at Woodcrest and we didn't know anyone. She was very hesitant the first day even crying as I left her, but by the end of the week she had made friends and was busy playing with them when I came to pick her up. Come on out to this event for some fun activities and good community with other local youth groups. Below is some information as to what the night will look like. Fall Family Fun Fest October 3rd-4th  Are you looking for an exciting event for the whole family? We are developing a weekend filled with a live concert, family activities with food, fun, and fellowship. It is a great way to spend a beautiful weekend without costing a lot of money. Mark your calendars now for Woodcrest's Fall Family Fest on Friday and Saturday, October 3rd-4th. You can make a weekend of fun by joining us for a Fall Family Campout. His debut radio single, "When Mercy Found Me," garnered the singer/songwriter a GRAMMY® nomination. Meanwhile, his third project, 2020's Good to Me, sparked multiple hits with "Gospel Song," which peaked at No. 2, and fan favorite "Believer," which spent 23 weeks inside the Top 10 at Christian radio. The Way Extreme is a night for senior high age students to be challenged and inspired. Under the cover of darkness, youth will explore what it would be like to live in a place where being a "Christian" is illegal.   To register, click here. Journey To Bethlehem December 12-23 & 19-20Fridays 6pm - 8:50pm / Saturday 5pm - 8:50pm Experience the true historical story of Christmas and relive the excitement of our Savior's birth through this live nativity. In our spacious outdoor setting, with the help of dramatic actors and real animals, you will walk with Biblical characters along candlelit wooded trails as you Journey to Bethlehem. Along your way, you will interact with shepherds and merchants, and receive items to assist you as you travel on your way! Winter Camps December 29th - 30thMonday 3pm - 9pm / Tuesday 9am - 4pm Campers – what better place to enjoy a winter day than at Woodcrest Retreat's WINTER CAMPS. This is an opportunity to get out of the house and enjoy the fun of camp for a day. School Of Wonder It's that time of year again, registration for our School of Wonder classes is officially open. The outdoors provide an ideal place to learn, explore, and discover. Woodcrest's School of Wonder makes that happen through a variety of classes (Classes) and programs that get students into creation. Whether it is a one-day or multi-day homeschool class or field trips for a school or co-op, Woodcrest can work with you to create the perfect outdoor experience. The School of Wonder uses trained and gifted staff who love helping students learn and develop their creative best.
