3rd Way Collective at Penn State University This fall marked the launch of "3rd Way Collective," a new student organization centered around cultivating peace, justice, and faith at Penn State University. After years of dreaming, University Mennonite Church (State College, PA) hired Ben Wideman as their new pastor for this on-campus group. UMC sees this as an opportunity and challenge to create something new at Penn State. The hope is that this is an organization that provides space for conversation and reflection that is built around a community engaged in building relationships, peacemaking, partnership, and reconciliation.
You can visit the website ( www.3rdwaycollective.org), like 3rd Way Collective on Facebook, follow on Twitter, and share about this organization with folks who are connected with Penn State. If your church would be interested in hosting Ben Wideman for an event or more conversation, email ben@3rdwaycollective.org |
