  1. We praise the Lord for a staff and board of directors who desire to see many lives touched by God at Spruce Lake. 
  2. We thank the Lord for the nearly 20 volunteers who got much accomplished on October 1st, Woodcutting Day.
  3. Some recent guests stated:
    "Our  family  is  so  grateful  for  the  generosity  of  Spruce  Lake  to  allow  us  to  stay  for  a  Pastoral  Personal
    Retreat.  Our  church  has  been  at  Spruce  Lake  twice,  but  this  was  our  first  stay  there  just  with  our  family.
    The staff was wonderful, and we were able to be refreshed and renewed in the Lord after a long year of
    life  and  ministry.  We  have  been  sharing  to  many  people  about  our  experience  here  and  thank  God  for your ministry."-Pastor and his family                                                                                  
    "Thank  you  so  much!  Everyone  at  Spruce  Lake  was  so  kind  and  it  was  easy  to  tell  that  they  love  Christ.  The students got a lot out of this experience, and so did our teachers and parents!"-Outdoor School Participant 
ITEMS FOR PRAYER
  1. Pray for the Spruce Lake board and staff as we continue to seek God's direction for the ministry. 
  2. Please pray that God would prepare the hearts of the arriving guests for what He wants to teach them while they are here. 
  3. Pray for God to provide more mid-week groups through the fall and winter months.
  4. Pray for wisdom as we continue planning for 2017 programs/events and for guidance as we pray about making some major improvements at Wilderness Camp.  
  5. Please pray for people to come out to Dock Mennonite High School for our 2016 FMCA Dinner on October 20th at 6:30 pm.   
We pray that you are growing closer to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
