|  - We praise the Lord for a staff and board of directors who desire to see many lives touched by God at Spruce Lake.

The new Youth Activity Center is moving forward with most of the block work and steel framing completed with anticipation of the metal roofing being installed soon. We have been blessed with great fall weather for the start of the project and Lord willing we expect to occupy this building next June. -
A recent praise, "We just received word that a group of 130 attendees had 65 first time decisions for Christ here at Spruce Lake. This is an evangelistic outreach group. Pretty amazing. Next year they want to bring 200 to 250." -
On November 1st Jana released Nicodemus the great horned owl at the tubing hill/old zip line. Jana rehabilitated him and stated, "Great to see a wild critter returned to his rightful place in the woods." - Quotes from some of our recent Outdoor Education students, "After the trip was over I feel like it is easier to talk to God and my walk with Him has improved." "The food was fantastic! To be honest, I had my doubts about this retreat. It turned out to be one of the most memorable trips with my class."
- The October 19th dessert reception/Franconia Mennonite Camp Association meeting went well and God was praised for all He is doing in and through the ministry of Spruce Lake.

- Pray for the Spruce Lake board and staff as we continue to seek God's direction for the ministry.
- Pray for the funding for the new building as we will need to raise $1,000,000.
- Please pray for safety and God's protection on the construction site and for all involved.
- Please pray for more guest groups to meet here at Spruce Lake in November and December.

Please pray that the Lord brings us individuals to fill positions that are now available. We are looking for a maintenance person with plumbing and HVAC skills. We also have openings in our housekeeping department and dining room. Please see our website for details. -
Pray for the planning season for the summer programs - Wilderness Camp, Day Camp and Adult & Family Programming. -
Please pray that God would prepare the hearts of the arriving guests for what He wants to teach them while they are here.
