This year's EMM banquet is going virtual! Like every banquet, you'll have an opportunity to hear some incredible stories of God's work around the world, but from the comfort of your home. The theme for the banquet is Roots of the Past, Steps for the Future. As a missions organization with a rich 100-year history, we acknowledge with gratitude, the legacy of sacrifice, obedience, and faith we have inherited from those who have served before. We look to these deep roots for the example and courage we need to take the bold steps of obedience and sacrifice required today.
As part of this event, we're featuring a "meze on the move" which is a sampling of flavors from countries around the world. This takeout tapas-style dinner for two will include a make-your-own chicken shawarma kit, Middle Eastern hummus with vegetables, Thai mango sticky rice, and some German sweets. Each bag will also include two bottles of Humankind tea or lemonade. The bags are free but a limited number will be available, so place your order soon. The meze bag is optional and you can watch the banquet online without ordering a bag.
