Teaching Positions

First Grade Long-Term Substitute – Locust Grove Campus

The Locust Grove Campus has a 12-week, long-term substitute position open in the First Grade classroom starting the beginning of January 2021 until the end of March 2021. We are looking for a dynamic teacher that has a passion for elementary students, someone that is committed to living out faith in an Anabaptist perspective, creates a teaching and learning environment that encourages and promotes creativity, inquiry and collaboration, and is culturally competent to teach within a diverse student body.

Third Grade Spanish Immersion Long-Term Substitute – Locust Grove Campus

The Locust Grove Campus has a 12-week, long-term substitute position open in the Third Grade Spanish Immersion classroom starting the end of February 2021 until the middle of May 2021. We are looking for a dynamic teacher that has a passion for elementary students, someone that is committed to living out faith in an Anabaptist perspective, creates a teaching and learning environment that encourages and promotes creativity, inquiry and collaboration, and is culturally competent to teach within a diverse student body.

4th Grade Math and 4th/5th Grade Science Part-time Long-Term Substitute – New Danville Campus

The New Danville Campus has a 12-week, part-time, long-term substitute position open for 4th Grade Math and 4th/5th Grade Science starting January 2021 until the end of March 2021. Hours are Mondays from 8:30am to 10:30am and Tuesdays – Fridays from 8:30am to 11:30am. We are looking for a dynamic teacher that has a passion for elementary students, someone that is committed to living out faith in an Anabaptist perspective, creates a teaching and learning environment that encourages and promotes creativity, inquiry and collaboration, and is culturally competent to teach within a diverse student body.

Custodian Positions

Custodian – Part-Time – New Danville Campus

The New Danville campus has an immediate opening for a part-time custodian. The position has flexible hours of 6 hours a day any time between 3:00 pm and 7:15am. If interested, please contact Troy at hursttd@lancastermennonite.org.

Custodian – Full-Time – Lancaster Campus

The Lancaster campus has an immediate opening for a full-time custodian. The hours are 3:30pm – 12:00am Monday through Friday. If interested, please contact Troy at hursttd@lancastermennonite.org.

Food Service Position

Food Service Department — Part-Time — Lancaster Campus

The Lancaster Campus has a part-time position available immediately. The hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00am to 12:30 pm each day that school is in session. Basic duties are helping with food preparation, serving students and basic kitchen duties. Applicants will be required to maintain a ServSafe Certification. Applicants should be culturally competent to serve within a diverse student body and should be committed to living out faith in an Anabaptist perspective and to maintaining a safe and well-maintained lunch room environment.
