Sofia was overcome with emotion and stopped talking.
Our advocate was silent for a while. She gently affirmed how hard it would've been to hear those words and said, "Here are some true words about your baby, from the Bible. Jeremiah 1:5 says, 'Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart.'"
She looked Sofia straight in the eyes and said, "God sees you, Sofia. He loves you. And He loves that special little baby you're carrying. He's not mad at you. Just the opposite—He wants to have a personal relationship with you." Sofia listened intently.
The advocate shared more about Jesus. She explained Sofia's pregnancy options and how we could help through prenatal classes, practical items, and spiritual encouragement. When she offered Sofia an array of educational brochures, Sofia chose the ones about our services – not the ones explaining abortion procedures.
She said, "I won't be needing those. I know I'm going to have this baby, and I want to take your prenatal classes. I'm so glad I found your organization online!"

Additionally, we budgeted $10,000 to provide large items—like a crib and mattress, travel system, and pack 'n play with a care station—to moms and dads who earn them by completing prenatal classes.
