We are two weeks out from the #ExtraGive, Lancaster County's annual giving event in support of local organizations making a difference in the community.
We hope you will remember those impacted by disasters as your make your gifts.
Last year, thousands of Mennonite Disaster Service volunteers helped more than 739 households recover from disaster in the U.S. and Canada. Donations received through the #ExtraGive go a long way to supporting those impacted by disaster.
This past year Lancaster area volunteers repaired Homes of Hope, a transitional home for homeless families that was damaged by fire in Ephrata, PA.
Nationally volunteers are are working in Louisiana, Texas, and Kentucky in response to floods and hurricanes, and in California and Washington rebuilding homes lost to wildfires.
Your donations keep our volunteers going and offer comfort and hope to disaster survivors.
