Kairos is for all Christians at any point in their journey with God. It is not a "missions" course. It is an opportunity for all God's people to have their worldview transformed and aligned with God's heart for the nations. He has called us all to play a part in His mission, and there are many different roles to fill. The registration fee ($125) covers materials, refreshments, and lunches. The guest speaker for February will be Janelle Bitikofer, MSW, LCSW, author and Director at We Rise International. Her presentation "Sharing the LEAP Approach" will be followed by a time of sharing. The public meeting is scheduled for Sunday, February 26, 2023 from 3:00 - 5:00 p.m. by Zoom, due to the chance of inclement weather. Meetings will return to Landis Communities in April 2023. The monthly meetings provide a place for those who have a loved one living with mental illness to learn and share their experiences. An Art Exhibit featuring pieces by local artist, Joanna McIlvaine will be on display at the Landis Homes Crossings Art Gallery from February-April, 2023. Joanne is a graduate of Lancaster Mennonite High School and graduated with a fine art degree from Goshen College in the 1980s. She did not start oil painting seriously until 2009, when she took a plain air painting class at PA College of Art; Design and learned how to paint outdoors on location. The Art Exhibit is located in the Crossings Gallery located in the Calvin G.; Janet C. High Learning; Wellness Center on the campus of Landis Homes, 1001 East Oregon Road, Lititz.
