Kairos is for all Christians at any point in their journey with God. It is not a "missions" course. It is an opportunity for all of God's people to have their worldview transformed and aligned with God's heart for the nations. He has called us all to play a part in His mission both locally and globally and there are many different roles to fill. Although the choir focuses on social interaction, participants will also benefit from the wellness aspects of singing, such as reduced stress and improved mood. Wednesdays, 10:00 - 11:00 am from September 20 - November 9, 2023. The concert is on November 12, 2023, at 2:00 pm. All events take place at Landis Homes in the West Bethany Chapel. 1001 E. Adopt-a-Shingle! Want to be a part of preserving history? The Herr House's roof is over 20 years old and in need of a replacement. Mennonite Life is committed to re-roofing the house with over 7,000 new, hand-cut red oak shingles. We invite you to join us by "adopting" one or more of these shingles, at $100 each. Maize & Snitz Fest The 1719 Museum hosts the annual Maize & Snitz Fest on Saturday, September 30, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tour the Herr House, take in bake oven and hearth cooking demonstrations, watch a blacksmith at work, and learn about local Indigenous history. Children's activities will be provided. Admission to the Maize & Snitz Fest is $15 for adults, $7 for youth 7–16, and complimentary for children 6 and under. | | Want to know more about LMC events?
