LMC resource partner organizations' Events & Information
Are you looking for a meaningful opportunity to serve?  EMM is recruiting volunteers to serve in the receptionist area for four hours a week or as a volunteer driver when needed.  There are also opportunities to serve at
HUB-450 with the refugee community.   Please get in touch with Sherrie Ober at 717-898-2251 or email her at sherrie.ober@emm.org with your interest,   Thank you for your consideration

You are invited to support Landis Communities and Welsh Mountain Home as part of Lancaster's ExtraGive on Friday, November 17. On that day, go to https://www.extragive.org/ and find the giving page. Your gift to Landis Communities will provide for an aging adult in Lancaster County, no matter their income level or physical needs. Your gift means more persons aged 55+ will have access to safe and affordable housing, life-enriching opportunities, and exceptional care when needed. A gift to Welsh Mountain Home provides an older adult and those with special needs an affordable, safe home. By giving, you allow them the chance to age with dignity in a loving home where their needs are met.

The No Longer Alone Family Support Group meets on the fourth Sunday of the month.  The guest speaker for November will be Tom Horst, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.  His presentation, "Supporting Families and Persons Experiencing Mental Health Challenges" will be followed by a time of sharing. The public meeting is scheduled for Sunday, November 19, 2023, from 3:00 - 5:00 p.m. in the Crossings Meeting Room of the Calvin G. and Janet C. High Learning and Wellness Center at Landis Communities, 1001 East Oregon Road, Lititz, PA. The monthly meetings provide a place for those who have a loved one living with mental illness to learn and share their experiences. For information or to receive a monthly meeting reminder, call 717-381-3599 or email JAlbright@landis.org.
