Friends,

We want to express our sincere gratitude for your invaluable contributions as a dedicated volunteer. Volunteers are the backbone of our mission. Your selfless efforts and commitment play a pivotal role in the success of feeding underprivileged families. Your unwavering support not only strengthens our community but also fosters a sense of unity and shared purpose. It is through the passion and generosity of our volunteers that we can make a positive impact, and we are truly thankful for your time, energy, and dedication to erasing hunger.

Our amazing volunteers first sort produce and repackage food into manageable sizes. Then they pack an average of 1,200-1,800 boxes per week. The boxes contain a mixture of perishable and non-perishable items, depending upon inventory. A recent box included spinach, apples, potatoes, bacon, and bread. The food boxes are then loaded onto Blessings of Hope trucks that we drive to partner ministries for a food outreach to be handed out to hungry neighbors in the local community.

This month, we are launching the "Love your neighbor as yourself" campaign, an initiative to redirect surplus food to those in need. With Valentine's Day coming, we invite you to love your neighbors as God loves us. Rooted in compassion and empathy, "Love your neighbor as yourself" emphasizes the interconnectedness of humanity and the importance of fostering harmonious relationships within communities. We encourage individuals to extend the same care, understanding, and kindness to their neighbors as they would to themselves. Will you consider loving your neighbor by giving a one time or recurring gift or giving your time by signing up for a volunteer shift?

With Love,

Blessings of Hope

A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. John 13:34
