In this week's Family Update we talk about City on the Hill and info on the upcoming election. |
This year, COTH will take place July 21st-27th, 2024 at Lancaster Bible College. During the first half of the week, we bring in nationally recognized speakers to present a Biblical perspective on the important social issues that teens are facing every day, like defending the sanctity of life, gender and sexuality, and more. Our culture is constantly bombarding the next generation with confusion and lies. We seek to give them the biblical worldview they need to see through the lies and engage with cultural issues from a foundation of truth. During the second half of the week, students will participate in a mock legislative session, run for leadership positions, defend legislation, and even debate on the State Senate floor at our beautiful Capitol building in Harrisburg! |

Our aim is for teens to leave confident, informed, encouraged, and stronger than ever in their faith. |
Here's what alumni have said about COTH: " An amazing experience that left me feeling fully equipped to be a 'city on a hill' in my home, my community, my country, and my world." "It's a life changing experience. What I learned here, the friends I've made…God truly worked in my life this week. I always look forward to COTH and would recommend it to anyone. You don't necessarily have to be interested in politics. You gain so much more than that." "I have never felt God in such a real way as I did at COTH. The knowledge and perspective shift I gained was invaluable." |

This week, candidates all across Pennsylvania officially filed with the Department of State to run for President, U.S. Senate, U.S. House, and statewide races for State Attorney General, State Auditor General, State Treasurer, State Senate (odd-numbered districts), and State House. Our team is hard at work as we start our candidate questionnaire process to produce our Primary Election Voter Guide later in March to help you choose well as you vote on Election Day, April 23rd. Look for more information coming soon. Our guide will be available online at PAFamilyVoter.com. You can also now apply for a mail-in ballot , a way to bank your vote before Election Day. You never know what might happen that might keep you from the polls on Election Day. For example, this past Tuesday, a special election to fill a vacancy in House District 140 in Bucks County occurred during a snowstorm. Are you registered to vote? If not, register here. |
