It uses a unique combination of facilitated introductions, reading, videos, group discussions, special activities, and prayer for unreached people. Kairos is one of several mobilization tools produced by Simply Mobilizing, Inc., located in the Philippines. Kairos is for all Christians at any point in their journey with God. It is not a "missions" course. It is an opportunity for all of God's people to have their worldview transformed and aligned with God's heart for the nations. The public meeting is scheduled for Sunday, February 25, 2024 from 3:00 - 5:00 p.m. by Zoom, due to the chance of inclement weather. Meetings will return to Landis Communities in April 2024. The monthly meetings provide a place for those who have a loved one living with mental illness to learn and share their experiences. Winter Workshop Easter Rabbit Fraktur Paint an 18th-century fraktur Easter rabbit image in a grain-painted frame with the guidance of artists Lynn Sommer and Jim King at Mennonite Life's Winter Workshop: Easter Rabbit Fraktur. The workshop takes place in the Mennonite Life Community Room on Friday, February 23, 12:30–4:30 p.m. The Workshop cost is $110. All supplies will be provided for this workshop. No experience is necessary. Advanced registration is required by February 16. Registration and additional information at Winter Workshop: Easter Rabbit Fraktur 1719 Museum Tour Guide Training Learn about Lancaster County's earliest history and share your knowledge with others. The 1719 Museum seeks community members to guide tours of the Herr House and Lancaster Longhouse in the spring, summer, and fall of 2024. Volunteers are asked to commit to attending all four training sessions and at least one tour date per month. The 1719 Museum tells the stories of Lancaster County's Indigenous peoples and earliest European immigrants. This is a four-session training course held on Saturday mornings:February 24, and March 2, 2024.
