It uses a unique combination of facilitated introductions, reading, videos, group discussions, special activities, and prayer for unreached people. Kairos is one of several mobilization tools produced by Simply Mobilizing, Inc., located in the Philippines. Kairos is for all Christians at any point in their journey with God. It is not a "missions" course. It is an opportunity for all of God's people to have their worldview transformed and aligned with God's heart for the nations. Wander the museum grounds. Explore the Lancaster Longhouse and Herr House at your own pace. Children and families are welcome. The museum will provide children's games that early immigrants to Pennsylvania would have been familiar with. The event will feature a garden display showcasing seeds likely used in the 18th century in Lancaster County, including both native plants and varieties brought from Europe. Volunteer Vonnie Groff will share about the Herr House kitchen garden and what the museum hopes to grow this year. This event is complimentary for Mennonite Life members.
