May Stats & Current Needs

MAY HAPPENINGS:

The quarterly Community Collaboration Meeting took place at the end of May at Garden Spot High School! We are grateful to have leaders and individuals from various sectors of the community gather to identify needs, share resources, and partner together. If you would like to be updated on when these meetings take place, please email meredith@elancocross.org.

LCBC Ephrata visited CrossNet for their Impact PA initiative! Close to 90 individuals volunteered their time to help clean CrossNet facilities, paint a Pathways to Housing apartment, and give out a free lunch to the community. We are grateful to partner together to offer help and hope in the name of Jesus, together!

This past month, two families in the Pathway to Housing Program successfully graduated from the program and moved into sustainable housing! We are praising God for His provision over these families and the hard work and time these participants have put into the program.

WAYS TO PARTNER WITH US!

We have some current immediate volunteer needs at CrossNet! Please look below at some volunteer opportunities:

1. Become a Youth Center Volunteer!

We are looking for Volunteers to help serve at the Youth Center Wednesday or Thursday evenings!

As a Youth Center Volunteer, you have the opportunity of walking alongside students in 7th through 12th grade as they have fun, build relationships, and learn about God in a safe space!

If you would like to know more about becoming a Youth Center Volunteer or would like to observe a Youth Center Night, please email grant@elancocross.org!

2. Become a Mentor!

Through the CrossNet Mentor Program, you can create a lasting influence in the life of a student or adult in our community!

We understand there can be reservations or questions with becoming a Mentor. Let CrossNet walk you through your questions and share the joys and tangible impact of being a Mentor at our next Mentor Training.

The training will take place on Tuesday, August 20th, from 5:30 - 8:00 PM at the CrossNet Youth Center.

3. Food Program Volunteer Needs!

The CrossNet Food Programs seek to provide food access to hundreds of individuals in the ELANCO community each month.

There are many ways you can be involved in this mission this summer and school year! Click on the link below for all of our current Food Program volunteer needs!
