We are excited to announce that registration is now open for the highly anticipated REAL Life REAL Hope banquet! Mark your calendars for Thursday, March 20th, 2025, at 6:30 pm, as we return to the wonderful Shady Maple Banquet Facility for an inspiring evening of community, connection, and celebration.

This year's banquet promises to be a truly special event and an excellent opportunity for you to introduce someone new to the REAL Life community. As we continue to expand our services and impact in northern Lancaster County and surrounding area, we are relying on your help to spread the word about the incredible work we are doing together. Your presence at the banquet will show firsthand how REAL Life is making a meaningful difference in the lives of so many.

The evening's program will feature powerful testimonies from those whose lives have been touched by REAL Life that will uplift and inspire, and a showcase of the connections that make our community so unique and impactful. It's a wonderful chance to reflect on how far we've come and to look ahead to the exciting work still to be done.

Introducing Becca, our new Case Worker!

Becca grew up in Lancaster County and graduated from Garden Spot High School. After taking a gap year, she decided to pursue social work so she could give back to the community and impact others. Becca recently graduated from Cairn University with her Bachelor's in Social Work. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, watching the Eagles, being outside, and hanging out with her golden retriever named Hope.

One of her favorite verses is Psalms 121:1-2 - "I lift my eyes up to the mountains- where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth"

We are so excited to welcome Becca to our team!

Furniture Bank Opening!

We're excited to announce that we now have a furniture bank! If you have gently used furniture in good condition that you no longer need or want, we'd be happy to accept it. Your donation will go to someone in need. Please reach out to us if you'd like to contribute!

Operation Warm Returns to Cocalico

Lancaster County Motors Subaru came back to the Cocalico community with Operation Warm! This year with even more style and color options- each kid was able to find a pair of sneakers they really loved! Operation Warm is such a blessing to so many neighborhoods across the country, we were so thankful they have made it an annual event to come to Cocalico. We can't wait to see what they offer next year!

VITA is Back!

Beginning February 13th through April 3rd, VITA will be offering free tax assistance for those earning less than $70,000 a year, at the Lighthouse Community Center on Thursdays from 9 AM to 1 PM, by appointment only. To schedule an appointment, please call Sunny at 717-336-7797 ext. 201.

We're excited to partner with the Central Penn Food Bank and the United Way to provide this free tax preparation clinic for our current clients. At REAL Life Community Services, we understand the importance of supporting those in need, and we're proud to offer this service to help make tax season a little easier for our community.

Praise the Lord, we raised $268,000 for our Thanks4Giving Campaign,
Please pray for an easy adjustment period as we begin integrating our new social worker into the REAL Life team,
Pray for the Lord's blessings and guidance as we move forward with a new format for our banquet this March.
