Greetings!

As Christians in Pennsylvania, it's important for us to stay mindful of abortion data.

The latest statistics from the Pennsylvania Department of Health are both sobering and motivating.

In 2023, there were 35,412 abortions performed in PA, averaging a heartbreaking 97 babies aborted each day. That is a 1.6% increase over the previous year.

Locally, the numbers are even more alarming:

Lancaster County residents who had abortions rose by 31%, from 680 to 888.

195 residents of Lebanon County chose abortion, marking a 12% increase.

These increases took place during the first full year of Planned Parenthood reopening in Lancaster City.

The use of the abortion pill accounts for 56% of all abortions in our state, which amounts to nearly 20,000 preborn babies lost — 10 weeks old or younger — in 2023.

We mourn the precious lives lost and the harm inflicted on families and communities. But our hope in God remains strong! We see Him moving powerfully through Align and others to reach people for life.

🙏 Nearly 100 women vulnerable to abortion chose LIFE for their babies.

🙏 21 clients prayed a prayer of salvation.

🙏 Over 100 faithful client advocates equipped more than 1,000 young mothers and fathers with parenting education and the gospel.
